We started where wool is born
Our company's story began where wool is born: in everyday work, during sheep shearing. The experience gained here, not only in Hungary but also through work abroad, has shaped Wooldock's approach.
Through our work, we saw firsthand how raw wool is becoming an increasing burden for farmers. Not because it's worthless, but because in the current market, only a narrow range of quality finds reliable buyers, and there's no comprehensive, predictable system behind it.
Our company has been operating since 2018, actively involved in the raw wool market and export.
We continuously strive to keep up with market changes, problems, and opportunities, while facing the industry's shortcomings day by day. This is where the idea of Wooldock was born: not to dictate from outside what's wrong, but to build a system from the inside, based on practice.
Wooldock was created to change this situation. Our goal is to create a working and transparent system around Hungarian raw wool, where not only a narrow quality range gets a chance, but the material itself regains its value. We're looking for a solution that takes the burden off farmers' shoulders and gives wool a more predictable future.
